writers conferenceAre you a writer that wants some fresh ideas and suggestions on how to improve your skill?  I can’t think of a better place to come relax and enjoy a conference with similar people like yourself than in the North Georgia Mountains on April 5th and 6th.   The mission of the Blue Ridge Writers Conference is to educate, inform and inspire writers.  What started as a small group meeting at Fannin County Middle School in 1996 has transpired into an annual event that draws 80 to 120 participants with various keynote speakers.

The Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association sponsors this event and the day will start out with a keynote speaker.  Participants generally have the opportunity to have one of the conference workers critique their work.  There are various workshops throughout the day that will be focusing on anything from poetry, to marketing a manuscript to writing screenplays.

So if you are a writer that is just in the beginning stages of your writing career or you have been doing it a while but would love new ideas, I can’t think of a better place to come visit and attend a conference than in beautiful Blue Ridge.  While you are visiting, call The Mountain Life Team to show you some amazing homes and cabins in the area.  You could very well have you own private mountain home sit in and enjoy working on all those excellent writing skills that you learn at the conference!
