Arts In The ParkMemorial Day Weekend RAIN or SHINE, May 24th and 25th Downtown City Park, Blue Ridge, Georgia.

Bring your family and friends to the 32nd annual Arts in the Park Festival. Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the historic town of Blue Ridge, Georgia, hosts over 10,000 people for this event. Traditionally held on Memorial Day weekend, this festival features more than 150 fine arts, crafts and food booths. There are activities for children, artists’ demonstrations and special art exhibits inside the historic county courthouse adjacent to the park.

Make this a great Memorial Day weekend by sharing it with us here in the North Georgia Mountains. Come spend a few days and see our picturesque Lake Blue Ridge, hike part of the Appalachian Trail or Benton MacKaye Trail system, both of which start in Fannin County, or take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. There’s always something fun and exciting to do, so come visit us, you’ll be glad you did!

  1. My sister-in-law’s family lived in Blue Ridge for years and years and later owned a home on the lake front. We had the chance to spend one glorious Fourth of July down there. It’s a very special place and your posts make me want to come back. Keep ’em coming.

  2. Michael,

Thanks for visiting us on “The Porch!” Blue Ridge is a special place to me as well, I have lived here nearly all of my life!

    Come back anytime!

    Make it a Great Day!
