I did not realize that in the years 2000 to 2010, 3.4 million New Yorkers migrated out of New York to Southern states for various reasons. A third of them relocated to Florida while the rest went to various other southern states. Many New York Style Pizza restaurants began forming in the south during this time! Blue Jeans Pizza and Pasta Factory in Blue Ridge Georgia is one of them that decided in 2002 to make the North Georgia Mountains their home!
Blue Jeans is as casual and comfortable as their name! It is a family oriented and owned Italian family style restaurant. You will be welcomed by friendly faces and portions of food that you wouldn’t believe. A few weeks ago, my husband and I visited this quaint restaurant. I ordered a salad and it was the biggest salad I have even seen in my life. I would suggest ordering the half size portion unless you want to be eating for about an hour!
I would highly recommend visiting Blue Jeans for some great Italian food and a nice relaxing dinner. While you are here, walk to the downtown Blue Ridge area for some great shopping at so many of the local boutiques, antique stores and art galleries.
