That’s right! As you cyclists know, there are always great races happening in or near the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. This September 8th is no exception as the Black Bear Rampage Bicycle Challenge will take place! You will experience a 20 mile or 40 mile mountain course bike race utilizing the best trails of the Tanasi Trail System in the Cherokee National Forest.
This year is a little different, featuring two courses for riders. It will be open to riders of all skill levels. Categories for racers include, youth, beginners, sport, Clydesdale (over 200 pounds,) Burly Bear (240 pounds), single speed and Silver Backs (for age 50 and up) entry fees and recreation user fees will apply. This event will happen at the amazing Occoee Whitewater Center that I wrote about the other day. You can not only enjoy the race but all of the beauty and great things the center has to offer. THERE ARE ONLY 88 SPOTS LEFT!
Go ahead and get registered now on Scotts Bicycle Centre’s website. Complete details can be found there. While you are here on that weekend, please give the Mountain Life Team a call. We would love to show you some wonderful cabins and homes that can be yours. Just think…maybe next time you race, you could enjoy it even more while going home and relaxing your sore muscles in your own hot tub at your own cabin!!! Enjoy the race and good luck!
