Cherry Log Fall Festival – Small Town Mountain Fun!!!

The Mountain Life Team Blogger September 25, 2012

Cherry Log, Georgia, only 5 miles east on 515 from Blue Ridge is another adorable North Georgia Mountain town that knows how to have fun!  Each year, they host their Cherry Log Fall Festival at the Cherry Log Community Clubhouse at 341 Cherry Log Street.  This year the festivities will take place the first two weekends in October.

While you are here, you can enjoy all types of homemade food.  Not just goodies but homemade breakfast and lunch.  When you are stuffed from all of that, you can indulge in all of the homemade pies and cakes.  Not only will there be lots of food and fun but you can hear the awesome bands playing and singing gospel and bluegrass music!

Cherry Log is a unique little town with  a population of approximately 1,200.  They say big things come in small packages sometimes and they are one close knit town that knows how to have fun in a big way!   Once you visit, you will probably want to call us at North Georgia Mountain Real Estate to help you locate a beautiful cabin in this area that is only minutes from downtown Blue Ridge.  Have fun and let me know what you think of the festival!
