Gardening in Cold North Georgia Weather!

The Mountain Life Team Blogger October 27, 2014

gardening-300x189So here’s an interesting event going on in our neck of the woods for all of our friends with “green thumbs” – it’s a free seminar by the Georgia Mountain Research & Education Center www.gmrec.uga.edu.  Class will be led by instructor Amanda Tedrow and she will specifically discuss guidelines for planting and proper timing for extended harvesting of veggies.  Ms. Tedrow is the current Athens-Clarke County Ag & Natural Resources Entension Agent.  Come on out & attend this seminar so you can keep that green thumb in check during the cold North Georgia Months. So glad we live in a community where we have such fine resources like this.
