I was so excited about the turnout at the Healthy Living Fannin Walk where over 100 people participated on January 12th. Each person walked from the downtown Blue Ridge area to Fannin County High School in order to support bringing awareness to the community about healthy living and promoting resources to help one another maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The group called Healthy Living Fannin is offering three cooking and educational classes. On February 28th, there will be a class on heart health. On March 28th, the class will be on healthy athletes and April 25th is on food allergies. All classes will be help from 5 to 6pm at the Town and Country Furniture in Blue Ridge. They are also focusing heavily on exercise classes as well including T-Tap, walking, jogging and Zumba.
If living healthy is important to you and you want to see others come to a knowledge on how to improve their health, check out the classes or any volunteer opportunites that may be available.
