How About a Little Bit of “Blue” Friday?

The Mountain Life Team Blogger November 18, 2012

The Friday after Thanksgiving, typically known as Black Friday, will be bustling in downtown Blue Ridge with some small town “Blue” Friday shopping.  If you live in or are visiting the North Georgia Mountains , avoid the mall city traffic and come enjoy discounts, early bird specials and shopping at it’s best in the beautiful historic town of Blue Ridge.

This is the day before Light up Blue Ridge.  Many stores will be open early and staying open late!  Many of the restaurants will be having discounts just like the stores!  There will be a group of Victorian dressed carolers strolling the area to make it extra festive! You will be able to enjoy the beauty of the town in the day as well as at night with the decorations and holiday candlelight shopping!

While you are in town with your family, please take some time to enjoy the new ice rink in downtown Blue Ridge, the Swan Drive In or the new Cohutta Mini Golf course off of Appalachian Highway.  There is plenty for each family member to take part in and have wonderful holidays in the mountains!
