How About A Little “Taste of Amish” – Blue Ridge

The Mountain Life Team Blogger May 17, 2013

taste-of-amishI don’t know about you but I absolutely love to be able to go into stores where I can find different types of foods and not the same “run of the mill” you find at the regular grocery stores.  Taste of Amish is an adorable country store located in beautiful Blue Ridge.  It is full of delicious healthy foods such as organic meats, fresh produce, gluten free products, jams and jellies, baking goods, candy, homemade remedies, soaps and much more.

Owners, Bill and Peggy Rush have made Fannin County their home for over 25 years.  You will find them in the store on a regular basis smiling with customers, running the cash register, stocking shelves or whatever else needs to be done.  They are open Monday through Saturday from 9 to 5 and closed on Sundays.

Taste of Amish can also make gift bags, take special orders as well as catering.  I know they catered a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon at Blue Ridge Elementary School and there were rave reviews of their yummy food.  Stop by if you can and visit this great store while you are in Blue Ridge.  Also, if you are visiting, give The Mountain Life Team a call to show you some amazing cabins and homes in the area.  Then you can shop at Taste of Amish on a regular basis!!!
