“Apple Pickin Jubilee” held at Hillcrest Orchards near Ellijay, Ga. on Hwy 52 east began on September 8th and will continue until October 28th~   This unique on the farm festival features U-Pick apples, pig races, cow milking, wagon rides, petting farm, pony rides, playgrounds, giant slides, jumping pillow, pedal cart rides, Moonshine Museum, Bluegrass & Country bands and cloggers on the stage.

As usual in the mountain communities there will be plenty of awesome food like funnel cakes, corn on the cob, hot boiled p-nuts, burgers, hotdogs, BBQ and lots more. Visit the large farm market where  shelves are filled with canned goods, local honey & sorghum, baskets and kitchen gadgets. Watch the bakers make fried apple pies, cider, doughnuts and fritters.  This is a great opportunity to bring the whole family and make your fall memories at Hillcrest Orchards and the “Apple Pickin’ Jubilee”.  Hours of operation are from 9 to 6.  Cost is $6.
