I often get asked about good bed and breakfast accommodations in the area. With the holidays around the corner, some choose the simple relaxing route as opposed to all the hustle and bustle. If that is you or you may be looking after the holidays to wind down a bit, check out The Aska Lodge. It is is one of Blue Ridge, Georgia’s newest bed and breakfast choices! Located in a certified national wildlife habitat, you are bound to see beautiful birds, nature and quite possibly, various types of animals.
New owners as of October or this year, Janet and Ric along with their two felines Prancer and Sam are ready to welcome you to this beautiful inn and town of Blue Ridge! The new owners spent 20 years in Key Largo Florida owning a diving business. Then relocated to Colorado in 2006 to run a bed and breakfast there. Now, they are looking forward to enjoying owning and operating the bed and breakfast in the south where the winters aren’t as harsh.
Choose from a variety of rooms called The Amicalola Falls Room, Springer Mountain Room, The Hummingbird or Belfry. Check out their website that will show you pictures of each of these beauties as well as all the ammenities there. A friend of mine stayed there over the holidays last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. So, if this sounds like something that you would enjoy doing, give them a call! Then, call The Mountain Life Team to show you beautiful homes and cabins that could be your very own! Then you could spend your holidays enjoying the mountains every year!
