Growing up just outside of Gainesville, Georgia in a small town called Flowery Branch, my family spent our summers camping and boating on and around Lake Lanier and North Georgia. Some of my best childhood memories are of camping at Cooper’s Creek and I think that is one of the things that would end up drawing me back to this area. I attended college in Marietta and I was fortunate enough to be able to buy my first house there when I was 22 years old. I spent 10 years in Marietta, working at a boat dealership and loved every minute of it. Eventually the city life became too busy for me, so one day I just up and quit my job and headed for the mountains. Luckily, I had friends up here in the Blue Ridge area and a place to stay. Took a 3 month hiatus from work and went on a 3 week long, 7200 mile, road trip during that to pick some friends up who were finishing the Continental Divide Trail. It was a trip to remember, but eventually reality set in and I had to get back to work. I came back from the trip and found a job in retail where I spent the next few years. I was just enjoying mountain life, but eventually found myself wanting to do something more than just retail. I was given the opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming a Realtor and I had to take it
