Although the snow and ice are beautiful, I think it is fitting that I write about upcoming spring events to remind us that there is warmer weather to come! The annual spring highway wine weekend will begin the weekend of March 22nd. It will also be on the following weekend of the 29th. Two weekends this year due to the popularity of this fun event!
The cost is $30.00 per person, which includes a souvenir glass, and your passport to all 14 participating wineries, Montaluce Winery, Cavender Creek Vineyards, The Cottage Vineyards & Winery, Sernity Cellars, Habersham Winery, Sautee Nacoochee Vineyards, Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Tiger Mountain Vineyards, 12 Spies Vineyards, Hightower Creek Vineyards, Crane Creek Vineyards, Serenberry Vineyards, Cartecay Vineyards, and Sharp Mountain Vineyards.
Several of these wineries are new to this event and they are anticipating even more to join. Always a fun time and such a great way to see the beauty of the mountains! Stay tuned for more details to follow!!!!
