The Thanksgiving Kids Table

First, the table centerpiece. This combination of reusable natural items like tiny gourds, pumpkins, wheat, fruit & wild flowers bring the Autumn season inside. The rustic candles, natural woven pumpkin and corn stalks are an added touch.  These things can be found outside and at your favorite department store.

For placemats, in the picture they used kraft paper but you could easily use brown paper bags. The white writing was from a chalkboard marker but you could easily use the thin kind of chalk sticks and the colored writing is fall colored markers.  You can add their name to each place setting and have then ask the kids to find their seats. Neat huh?

While they’re waiting for the delectable turkey, savory dressing and all the fixins’ to be served, they can draw on their placemat plate or whatever they’d like. Or they can write what they’re thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Hope this gives you some good ideas on how to spruce up your table for Thanksgiving Day! Got any of your own ideas?  Share them and let us know your fav Thanksgiving Day table ideas.
