Its hard to believe with the March snow in the mountains and the cold temperatures that spring is just around the corner…but it is! One of Georgia’s most famous and beautiful parks located in Blairsville, Vogel State Park, loves to celebrate the beauty of spring flowers by hosting a guided tour with a wildflower enthusiast on a beautiful nature trail.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 20th from 1:30 to 3:30 and the Appalachian forest floor will be showing its true colors with Jack-in-the-Pulpits, violets, wild azaleas and many other beautiful flowering plants. The great news also is that the cost is only $3 for the tour and $5 to park. Come enjoy the beauty of Vogel and see all the many things this fabulous park has to offer.
