Murphy, NC is the county seat of Cherokee County, the westernmost county in the state and is the gateway to the Smoky Mountains. Outdoor enthusiasts love the many options for hiking, waterfalls, and mountain biking due to easy access to the Nantahala and Pisgah National Forests.
