Growing up in Blue Ridge, Carissa has always had a deep appreciation for the North Georgia mountains and the community she proudly calls home. As a local, she knows the area well and loves helping others discover what makes mountain living so special.

Before pursuing a career in real estate, Carissa worked in a variety of roles including Deputy Clerk, Office Manager, Personal Injury Case Manager, and in the service industry as both a bartender and waitress. While each position was different, they all had one thing in common - helping people. Through those experiences, she developed strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine love for building relationships. In fact, many of the connections she made throughout those years remain friendships she treasures today.

Real estate felt like a natural next step because it combines two things Carissa is passionate about: helping people and building lasting relationships. She understands that buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions many people will make, and she feels honored to be part of that journey. Her goal is to make the process as smooth and positive as possible while helping her clients feel supported every step of the way.

When she's not working, you'll usually find Carissa spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband, a construction worker, for 10 years. They met in June of 2015 and married less than a year later - something many people thought was crazy at the time, but a decision they have never regretted. Together, they are raising their three daughters, Chevy, Remi, and Kami, and sharing life with their handsome 10-year-old dog, Bubba.

Carissa loves being outdoors and making memories with her family. Whether she's riding through the mountains on a side-by-side, hiking to waterfalls, cheering on her girls at softball games, or watching them ride dirt bikes, being present for those moments means everything to her. She truly believes some of life's best memories are made outside, surrounded by the people you love most.

For Carissa, real estate is about more than buying and selling homes - it's about helping people find the place where those memories will be made. She looks forward to helping others find their place to call home in the mountains she loves!
