Among the many Bavarian-style buildings up and down Main Street in Helen sits a former 2-story residence that is home to The Christmas Shoppe. Open from Memorial Day through Christmas Day, this beloved shop features a variety of decor, collectibles, and gifts for the Christmas fan in your life. You’ll definitely want to check out their selection of hand-painted Austrian eggs, a centuries-old tradition.

The shop is open Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. They are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Boasting they’re “Georgia’s largest Christmas emporium,” Always Christmas offers unique Christmas decorations, ornaments, and gift items, with new items arriving daily. Open since 1993, the shop is located in downtown Hiawassee, where new items arrive daily.

They are open from 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 6 pm on Friday, and 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday. They are closed on Sunday.
