Welcome To Lake
Blue Ridge
Lake Blue Ridge is 11 miles long and has 65 miles of shoreline. It is one of Georgia’s most picturesque mountain lakes with clear aquamarine water. The lake was made by the Toccoa Electric Power Company in the 1930s for generating hydroelectric power and is now owned and operated by the Tennessee Valley Authority. Today, families enjoy the boat ramps, full-service marinas, public swimming areas, and picnic areas.
